Mize beginning class – a phenomenal example of maximum use of instructional time. Cody Mize is a wonderful math and science teacher with whom I’ve had student teachers placed in his classroom. I also take my student teachers to observe him as an example of an extremely effective math teacher. He also speaks with the student teachers after they observe his classroom. His students love and trust him enough to tell him when they don’t understand a concept. His scores are at the top. This video shows how he begins instruction within 2 minutes and 10 seconds of the beginning of an 8th grade math class.
